Hi Jeff. This is a great new feature. Q: is there a limit to how many people you can select to send the post to? Is there a different limit for the number in a group vs send separately? This reminds me of when we used to be able to send messages to up to 50 connections at once. I know that spamming was an issue with that and it was discontinued. This feature is connected to posts, which is much better. But seeing the similarity is what made me think there might be limits to it.

Jeff Cheng nice but isn't there other more low-hanging fruit? I ask because I don't understand why there is no entry in the dropdown from the ellipsis on the upper right side of a feed item that says "Find posts by this user" There are other entries like "Remove connection with <the poster>". Why not "Find posts by this user"? Right now it is a high-friction process 1. click on poster image to land on their profile (that also triggers a WVMP and I may not want that) 2. scroll down to the bottom of the "Activity" section in the profile 3. click on "Show all Activity"

It is a great start but should let you tag people in the message when sending to a group. Btw this was a life saving update as the app messaging feature was totally broken. I also think that this is time to add a radio and podcast mode in chat / groups. LinkedIn needs more community tools like discord’s.

    I reflect on this as my career and scope has evolved, the every changing nature of being a PM. Over the past 6M, I've shifted teams and as this has happened, I've done what traditional PM's do, to set product vision/strategy on how we get there, execution, motivated, listed to users but also much much more. Some new things I didn't expect, run codeless pilots, help reduce scamming, dug into a competitor's S1/product. So.. What's the most important thing a PM does?

A couple of follow on thoughts: - Research via different formats to collect different feedback: codeless pilots, surveys, qualitative interviews - Listen, understand, and try to decipher why what a user tells you differs from what they do (positive or negative) Any other tips?

    "We are not ready to show customers yet" - a leading indicator of a team building a product with no market. Pitching and sales conversations should be done ahead of product development, not as a downstream packaging activity once the product is built. Magnus Hambleton and I cover a bunch of tactical tips on engaging potential customers early, including: ✅ Outline the problem you aim to solve and how your solution would be better than alternatives. Listen closely to objections and concerns. ✅ Allow potential users to speculate on unfinished aspects of your product. Their feature assumptions uncover hidden needs. ✅ Leverage user testing platforms to access and engage representative customer segments early. ✅ Maintain direct customer interactions as you scale. Require product and engineering leaders to continue customer conversations as you scale up other customer-facing functions such as marketing and sales.     We just wrapped up our first-ever Innovation Week at LinkedIn! The event was designed to inspire our global team of engineers to dream big about the future of work, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the outcome.
